Wzrosła przestępczość w powiecie kościerskim
O prawie 15% wzrosła liczba przestępstw kryminalnych w powiecie kościerskim w 2015 roku.
To głównie kradzieże mienia, a szczególnie samochodów – podsumowują policjanci. Łącznie w ubiegłym roku doszło tam do 754 przestępstw. Skradziono 32 pojazdy, to jest o 18 więcej niż rok wcześniej. Zatrzymano 129 kierowców pod wpływem alkoholu, a 27 kierującym odebrano prawo jazdy za przekroczenie prędkości w terenie zabudowanym. W 2015 roku na terenie powiatu kościerskiego doszło też do dwóch zabójstw. Zmniejszyła się za to liczba wypadków drogowych, choć zginęło w nich łącznie 8 osób.
– Ze wstępnej analizy wynika, że przestępstwa najczęściej dokonują ludzie młodzi – ocenia komendant policji w Kościerzynie inspektor Andrzej Czaja.
Wykrywalność sprawców przestępstw w powiecie kościerskim wyniosła w 2015 roku 52%. To plasuje kościerskich policjantów w środkowej stawce w województwie.
