Obniżyli dług miasta, by móc korzystać z unijnych środków
Obniżyli zadłużenie, by móc korzystać z nowych środków unijnych. Władze Kościerzyny zredukowały dług miasta o 7 i pół %, czyli o prawie 4 mln złotych.
Jeszcze na początku ubiegłego roku zadłużenie kościerskiego samorządu sięgało prawie 40% budżetu. Wynikało to głównie z realizacji inwestycji dofinansowanych z programów unijnych.
– Aby móc korzystać z nowej perspektywy unijnej na lata 2014-20, musieliśmy ograniczyć wydatki – tłumaczy burmistrz Michał Majewski.
W tym roku władze Kościerzyny chcą ograniczyć zadłużenie miasta o kolejne 2 mln złotych.
