Ekolodzy uczą, jak mądrze dokarmiać ptaki
Dokarmiajmy ptaki mądrze, w przeciwnym razie czeka je głodowa śmierć – apelują ekolodzy.
Podstawą prawidłowego dokarmiania są: systematyczność, używanie wyłącznie świeżych produktów, dokarmianie gdy jest śnieg i mróz, wykluczenie chleba oraz wykorzystywanie ziaren zbóż i słonecznika.
– Jeśli już zaczęliśmy np. sikorom pomagać w przetrwaniu zimy to należy pomoc kontynuować aż do połowy kwietnia. Za pomoc w zimie ptaki odwdzięczą się latem – mówi Monika Rekowska z Ośrodka Edukacji Ekologicznej w Szymbarku.
Ośrodek Edukacji Ekologicznej w Szymbarku prowadzi warsztaty z dokarmiania ptaków w szkołach z terenu powiatu kartuskiego. Wzięło w nich udział prawie 1 tysiąc 400 dzieci.
