Gmina Luzino wydała kalendarz Gerarda Labudy
Unikatowe zdjęcia i ciekawostki z życia profesora Gerarda Labudy znalazły się w kalendarzu dedykowanemu jego pamięci.
To pierwsza propozycja gminy Luzino na uhonorowanie uczonego w poświęconym mu 2016-tym roku. Bezpłatna publikacja trafiła do mieszkańców gminy, oraz do działających na jej terenie placówek oświatowych, kulturalnych i sportowych. Gerard Labuda był wybitnym mediewistą, autorem dwóch tysięcy prac naukowych – w tym 30-u książek, między innymi Historii Kaszubów w dziejach Pomorza. Jak zapewnia wójt Jarosław Wejer – wydanie kalendarza to jedno z wielu wydarzeń poświęconych temu niezwykłemu przyjacielowi Luzina.
W kalendarzu znalazły się m.in. unikalne, niepublikowane dotąd zdjęcia uczonego oraz ciekawostki z jego życia, które spisały Genowefa Kasprzyk i Maria Krośnicka w książce „Gerard Labuda. Żeglarz na oceanie nauki.”
– Zdecydowaliśmy się na formę kalendarza, bo jest to symboliczny początek przygody profesora z nauką – mówi Maria Krośnicka.
Rok 2016 -ty w setną rocznicę urodzin Gerarda Labudy chce uczonemu poświęcić Zrzeszenie – Kaszubsko Pomorskie. Oficjalna inauguracja odbędzie się jutro – w wejherowskim Zespole Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych nr 1 i w Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko – Pomorskiej.
