3 miliony złotych za ubiegłoroczne inwestycje sportowe
3 miliony złotych kosztowały w ubiegłym roku sportowe inwestycje w Gdyni. Było ich niemal 40, wśród nich modernizacja obiektów sportowych przy Olimpijskiej, Ośrodka Hipoterapii oraz budowa boiska do piłki nożnej i siłowni zewnętrznych.
Przy ulicy Olimpijskiej przemianie uległy hale Lekkoatletyczna i Gier. Za półtora miliona złotych pozyskanych z Ministerstwa Sportu i Turystyki odświeżono je i doposażono na potrzeby zarówno zawodowych sportowców jak i mieszkańców Gdyni. Przy olimpijskiej odbywają się m.in. zajęcia w ramach akcji Gdyńskie Poruszenie. Drugą dużą inwestycją ubiegłego roku był remont Ośrodka Hipoterapii w Orłowie, za pół mln złotych zmodernizowano m.in. wybieg dla koni. Kolejne pół miliona złotych kosztowało boisko ze sztuczną murawą w Redłowie przy szkole podstawowej nr 34, a sto tysięcy złotych natomiast kosztowały siłownie zewnętrzne przy ulicach: Abrahama, Szafranowej-Rdestowej, Haffnera, Zielonej i Orłowskiej. Listę uzupełniają drobniejsze inwestycje, jak nowa skocznia do skoków w dal obok boiska przy Chwaszczyńskiej oraz plac zabaw przy Chwarznieńskiej.
