Nowy parking zyskali mieszkańcy osiedla Fenikowskiego
Nowy parking dla ponad 40 samochodów zyskali mieszkańcy osiedla Fenikowskiego w Wejherowie. To ostatnia w tym roku inwestycja zrealizowana w ramach budżetu obywatelskiego.
– To nie jest duża inwestycja, ale powinna znacząco usprawnić ruch na tym osiedlu – mówi naczelnik wydziału Inwestycji Gospodarki Komunalnej i Ochrony Środowiska z urzędu miejskiego, Stanisław Brzozowski.
Fenikowskiego to jedno z największych, a także jedno z najmłodszych osiedli w mieście, dlatego słabo rozwinięta infrastruktura drogowa od dawna dawała się mieszkańcom we znaki. Sytuacje poprawić mają 43 miejsca parkingowe, jakie dzisiaj oddano tam do użytku. Na osiedlu Fenikowskiego znajduje się ponad 1000 mieszkań, jednak nie udało się zbudować większej liczby miejsc postojowych ze względu na nieuregulowaną sytuację prawną okolicznych gruntów. – Mimo to komfort życia ulegnie zdecydowanej poprawie – mówi wnioskodawca projektu, miejski radny Mariusz Łupina.
Koszt realizacji tej inwestycji to niemal 230 tysięcy złotych.
