Dziś ostatni dzień Adwentu i początek kaszubskich Gòdów
Dziś ostatni dzień Adwentu i początek kaszubskich Gòdów. Słowo „Gòdë” w językach słowiańskich oznacza czas radości i wesela. Po kaszubsku Gòdama nazywamy okres od świąt Bożego Narodzenia do Trzech Króli.
Jest to czas kiedy tradycja chrześcijańska przenika się z dużo starszymi kaszubskimi wierzeniami przedchrześcijańskimi, związanymi przede wszystkim z kultem przyrody. Od ponad 100 lat ustawia się w kaszubskich domach świąteczne drzewko, najczęściej świerk lub sosnę. Dawniej zamiast choinki stawiano w rogu izby snopek zboża, który miał być symbolem obfitości, nadzieją na to, że w domu nigdy nie zabraknie chleba. W wigilijny wieczór gdzieniegdzie jeszcze możemy się spodziewać wizyty kolędników, kaszubskich Gwiżdżi, Panëszk abò Gwiôzdk. Dzieci czekają na Gwiôzdora, którego w tym roku w szczególny sposób przybliżało im Radio Kaszëbë. Nasz reporter zapytał Gwiôzdora, co mu się najbardziej w świętach podoba.
Kaszubskim zwyczajem, jest też uczestnictwo w pasterce o dwunastej w nocy. Świętując Boże Narodzenie, chrześcijanie oczekuja ponownego przyjścia Jezusa Chrystusa Zbawiciela Świata. Czekają nas dwa świąteczne dni. Spotkajmy się z rodziną i przyjaciółmi. Pamiętajmy, że Gòdë, to czas uświęcony w kaszubskiej tradycji.
