Szukali oszczędności i pozyskiwali dofinansowania
Na pozyskiwanie zewnętrznego dofinansowania i szukanie oszczędności położono największy nacisk w Rumi – wynika z podsumowania pierwszego roku urzędowania nowego burmistrza. Michał Pasieczny był dziś gościem w naszej porannej audycji.
– Chcemy systematycznie oddłużać miasto, a oszczędności rozpoczęliśmy od funkcjonowania Urzędu – mówi Michał Pasieczny.
Wśród najważniejszych inwestycji minionego roku wymieniał modernizację ulicy Dąbrowskiego – jednej z głównych arterii miasta prowadzącej do ulicy Hutniczej w Gdyni. Szykuje się już kolejny remont usprawniający komunikację w mieście, dzięki dofinansowaniom, które pozyskał utworzony w tym celu Wydział Rozwoju Miasta. W Rumi mają także nadzieję na zdobycie dofinansowania m.in. modernizacji punktu widokowego – Góry Markowca. Rada Miasta przyjęła już budżet na przyszły rok, zaprojektowany tak, by dochody nieco przewyższyły planowane wydatki.
