To był rekordowy rok w wejherowskim muzeum
Rekordowa frekwencja zwiedzających, kilkanaście wydanych publikacji i ukończony projekt książnicy profesora Gerarda Labudy – to bilans mijającego roku w Wejherowskim Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko – Pomorskiej.
Wydarzenia, koncerty i wystawy według wstępnych szacunków przyciągnęły około 2 tys. więcej osób niż w roku ubiegłym. Jak tłumaczy dyrektor muzeum Tomasz Fopke, to zasługa szerokiej akcji promocyjnej prowadzonej m. in. w Trójmieście, powiatach słupskim, bytowskim czy puckim. Wśród 20 ekspozycji i jeszcze większej liczby koncertów dwa wydarzenia przyciągnęły szczególną uwagę: wystawa starych fotografii Augustyna Ziemensa oraz drugi Maraton Pieśni Patriotycznych, podczas którego ponad 200 osób przez niemal 4 godziny odśpiewało 56 pieśni w języku polskim i kaszubskim. Do sukcesów dyrektor muzeum zalicza również wydanie 13 pozycji książkowych, z których aż 4 to śpiewniki Kaszubskie. W przyszłym roku w druku mają się ukazać m. in. drugi Wejherowski Rocznik Kulturalny, katalog fonografii czy album tańców kaszubskich.
Przyszłorocznym priorytetem wejherowskiego muzeum będzie praca nad książnicą prof. Gerarda Labudy, pierwsza konferencja w tej sprawie odbędzie się w połowie stycznia.
