Krytyka ustawy dotyczącej fotoradarów
Ministerstwo Spraw Wewnętrznych skrytykowało ostatnio projekt Ruchu Palikota, który chciał pozbawić straże miejskie i gminne możliwości używania fotoradarów. Urzędnicy krytykowali przede wszystkim pomysł, by fotoradarami na powrót zajęła się policja. Wskazywali też, że odkąd straże fotografują kierowców bezpieczeństwo na drogach znacznie się poprawiło. Tymczasem zmotoryzowani choćby na stronach internetowych narzekają, że fotoradar to maszynka do zarabiania pieniędzy dla gmin. Projekt poselskiej ustawy został odrzucony, na razie nic więc nie wskazuje na to, że fotoradarów będzie na drogach mniej – lub że zajmie się nimi policja. W samym Wejherowie w sierpniu popełniono ponad trzy tysiące wykroczeń drogowych. Większość z nich wychwyciły właśnie fotoradary.
