Wiosną rozpoczną budowę nowego budynku socjalnego
Wiosną w Kościerzynie rozpocznie się budowa nowego budynku socjalnego dla 24 rodzin. Miasto otrzymało na ten cel ponad 600 tysięcy złotych dofinansowania z pomorskiego Urzędu Marszałkowskiego.
– Łączny koszt budowy wyniesie prawie 2 mln złotych – mówi burmistrz Michał Majewski.
Dotychczas osoby o najniższych dochodach w mieście mogły korzystać z jedynego jak dotąd budynku socjalnego przy ulicy Chojnickiej. Na nowe mieszkania czeka około 40 rodzin. Połowa z nich znajdzie miejsce w nowym budynku, który ma powstać przy ul. Gajowej na osiedlu Wierzysko. Władze Kościerzyny w najbliższych dniach ogłoszą przetarg na wykonawcę inwestycji.
