Wraca pomysł starań o status uzdrowiska dla Kościerzyny
Uzdrowisko to szansa na nowe źródła dochodu dla mieszkańców i promocję miasta – przekonywano w Kościerzynie podczas kolejnego już seminarium w tej sprawie. Promowany przez poprzednie władze pomysł utknął jednak w tej kadencji w miejscu.
Uzdrowisko w Kościerzynie miałoby powstać na terenach wokół szpitala specjalistycznego oraz części sołectwa Szarlota w gminie Kościerzyna. Założenia projektu opracowano już kilka lat temu przez specjalistów z Politechniki Gdańskiej. Promowany przez poprzedniego burmistrza Zdzisława Czuchę pomysł nie spotkał się jednak z entuzjazmem nowego burmistrza Michała Majewskiego.
O wadach i zaletach statusu uzdrowiska dla Kościerzyny rozmawiano wczoraj podczas seminarium w szpitalu w Kościerzynie. Specjalnymi gośćmi spotkania były władze Gołdapi – jedynego na Mazurach uzdrowiska, które status ten uzyskało w 2000 roku. Władze Kościerzyny w sprawie statusu uzdrowiska dla miasta zapowiadają szerokie konsultacje z mieszkańcami i władzami gminy Kościerzyna. (Foto: lot-sercekaszub.pl)
