Teleopieka – brak chętnych w gminie Wejherowo
Do skorzystania z teleopieki – zachęca seniorów Gminny Ośrodek Pomocy Społecznej w Wejherowie.
– Niestety na razie tylko 10 osób zdecydowało się na abonament – informuje Iwona Marczyńska z wejherowskiego GOPS.
Prawie rok po wystartowaniu program cieszy się nikłym zainteresowaniem. Elektroniczny, całodobowy monitoring pozawala osobom starszym i niepełnosprawnym na przyzywanie natychmiastowej pomocy do miejsca ich zamieszkania. W gminie Wejherowo można z niego korzystać od lutego, wystarczy posiadać telefon stacjonarny lub komórkowy. Jedynym kosztem dla mieszkańca jest zakup odpowiedniego aparatu telefonicznego, ale i tu gmina oferuje pomoc. Osoby w trudnej sytuacji finansowej mogą starć się o dofinansowanie na ten cel.
