Ponownie przeprowadzą ankietę wśród osób bezdomnych
Chcą poznać przyczyny trudnej sytuacji życiowej i skuteczniej pomagać – Miejski Ośrodek Pomocy Społecznej w Wejherowie będzie przeprowadzał ankiety wśród osób bezdomnych.
– To za mało, byśmy mogli skutecznie zdiagnozować przyczyny problemu, więc 10 i 11 grudnia ponownie wyruszymy z ankietami – mówi Małgorzata Czerniawska z wejherowskiego MOPS.
To druga taka akcja organizowana przez wejherowski MOPS przy współpracy ze strażą miejską. Podczas pierwszej, prowadzonej w styczniu bieżącego roku pracownicy socjalni przepytali 10 bezdomnych. Pracownicy MOPS będą także informować bezdomnych, że na czas zimy mogą skorzystać nieodpłatnie ze schronisk i przytulisk, między innymi u sióstr Albertynek w Wejherowie, w Gdyni na ulicy Jana z Kolna czy we Wielu. – Mimo zbliżających się mrozów nie wszyscy decydują się na skorzystanie z tej możliwości – informuje komendant wejherowskiej straży miejskiej Zenon Hinca. W Wejherowie zanotowanych jest obecnie ponad setka bezdomnych. Tylko połowa z nich decyduje się na spędzenie zimy w schronisku.
