„Biała Wstążka” ma zatrzymać przemoc wobec kobiet
Kampania „Biała Wstążka” to największa na świecie kampania mająca na celu zatrzymanie przemocy wobec kobiet. Jest ona prowadzona w ponad 55 krajach. Kampania została stworzona przez mężczyzn i jest przede wszystkim do nich skierowana.
– Mamy wielkie wsparcie, i to pozwala mieć nadzieję, że coś da się poprawić – mówi Hanna Żółkoś-Margońska z gdyńskiego MOPS.
Ma na celu rozpoczęcie dyskusji na temat przemocy wobec kobiet oraz wspieranie działań na rzecz jej przeciwdziałania. Już po raz siódmy kampania realizowana jest także w Gdyni. Jej głównymi organizatorami są Miejski Ośrodek Pomocy Społecznej i Specjalny Ośrodek Szkolno-Wychowawczy nr 2, ale szeroko włączyli się również inni, m. in.: samorządowcy, gdyńskie szkoły, firmy, instytucje i organizacje pozarządowe. Między 25 listopada i 10 grudnia odbędzie się szereg różnych wydarzeń w ramach kampanii. Uczniowie Specjalnego Ośrodka Szkolno-Wychowawczego nr 2 będą m.in. promować idee kampanii i przypinać wstążeczki podczas Sesji Rady Miasta i w różnych punktach Gdyni, zorganizują turniej sportowy pod nazwą „Ćwicz muskuły nie awantury” oraz zorganizują pokaz filmu „Biała Wstążka 2015” w księgarni Vademecum. Finałem kampanii będzie miejska konferencja pt. „Mamo, tato patrzę na to”, która odbędzie się 10 grudnia, w sali widowiskowej Klubu 3. Flotylli Okrętów.
