Zapomniana powieść sprzed 100 lat odkryta przez prof. Linknera
Kaszubsko-myśliwską powieść sprzed stu lat o tytule „Święty Eustachy” odkrył i opublikował literaturoznawca profesor Tadeusz Linkner. Jej autorem jest pochodzący z Wielkopolski Władysław Janta Połczyński.
– Ta książka przybliża nam realia Kartuz sprzed stu laty – mówi zachęcając do przeczytania jej profesor Tadeusz Linkner.
To powieść z wątkami miłosnymi i kryminalnymi, a akcja dzieje się w kaszubskich Kartuzach wiosną 1914 roku. Choć autor nie był Kaszubą, zamieścił w niej fragmenty dialogów w języku kaszubskim a także patriotyczny wiersz Aleksandra Majkowskiego Kaszubsko – Pomorska Mowa. Głównym bohaterem jest Polak Eustachy, który po studiach w Eberswaldzie zgłasza się do kartuskiego nadleśnictwa do pracy – oceniał pisarz i poeta Grzegorz Schramke podczas promocji książki, która wczoraj odbyła się w Dziemianach. Powieść „Święty Eustachy” po raz pierwszy opublikowano w 1921 roku. Po prawie stu latach, dzięki profesorowi Tadeuszowi Liknerowi wznowiono jej wydanie w wydawnictwie Bernardinum.
