Będzie więcej startów i lądowań na lotnisku w Rębiechowie
Na lotnisku w Rębiechowie samoloty będą mogły lądować i startować we mgle. Jak dotąd, w złych warunkach loty odwoływano, a lądowania przekierowywano na inne lotniska.
Teraz będzie inaczej dzięki systemowi ILS – informuje Gazeta Wyborcza Trójmiasto. Ta ważna zmiana nastąpi już od najbliższego czwartku. Gdańskie lotnisko w Rębiechowie będzie trzecim w Polsce, które ma system ILS kosztujący 60 mln zł. Wysokość, na jakiej załoga będzie musiała zobaczyć światła podejścia, obniżona jest przy tym systemie do zaledwie 30 metrów. Minimalna widzialność przy progu pasa będzie musiała wynosić 300 metrów.
Do startu wystarczy widzialność 125 metrów. Dotąd działał on jedynie w Warszawie i Modlinie. Do zainstalowania systemu przygotowują się też inne lotniska w Polsce m. in. w Krakowie, Katowicach i Wrocławiu. (Foto: histmag.org)
