Producenci muszą postawić na przetwórstwo i lepszy marketing
Postawić na przetwórstwo i lepszy marketing muszą producenci żywności ekologicznej na Pomorzu. To wnioski z trwające w Starej Kiszewie dwudniowej konferencji pod hasłem „Współpraca się opłaca”.
– W rozwoju przetwórstwa i gospodarstw ekologicznych pomogą nowe środki unijne z Programu Rozwoju Obszarów Wiejskich na lata 2014-2020 – podkreślała podczas konferencji zastępca dyrektora gdyńskiego oddziału ARiMR Stanisława Bujanowicz.
Bierze w niej udział prawie 140 producentów i przetwórców ekologicznych a także naukowcy i specjaliści do spraw rolnictwa. Jak podkreślają uczestnicy spotkania, szansą na rozwój tej branży są nowe środki unijne, a także lepsza współpraca między samymi producentami – mówi jeden z rolników z powiatu kartuskiego Andrzej Klasa.
Na Pomorzu obecnie żywność ekologiczną produkuje 711 rolników. Na 86 z nich przypada jeden zakład przetwórczy, co jest dwukrotnie mniejszą liczbą niż średnia w Unii Europejskiej. Uczestnicy konferencji zwiedzają dzisiaj gospodarstwa ekologiczne w Grabowie koło Białego Boru oraz w Wandzinie.
