Wejherowska młodzież na spotkaniu z przedstawicielami władz
O zmiany w komunikacji miejskiej i przestrzeń do realizacji swoich pasji – postulowała wejherowska młodzież na spotkaniu z przedstawicielami władz miejskich i powiatowych. Debata w Filharmonii Kaszubskiej otworzyła cykl spotkań organizowanych przez Stowarzyszenie Morena z Gdańska.
– Nieletnich z reguły nie traktujemy jako partnerów do rozmowy, tymczasem oni też mają swoje problemy – mówi koordynator projektu Katarzyna Smoczyńska.
Organizatorzy chcą osiągnąć dwa cele – aktywizować młodych z naszego województwa do udziału w życiu lokalnych społeczności i sprawić, by ich głos został wysłuchany przez decydentów. W Filharmonii Kaszubskiej z władzami Wejherowa i przedstawicielami samorządu powiatowego spotkali się uczniowie ZSP nr 3 i Gimnazjum Społecznego nr 1. Postulowano m.in. o zmiany w miejskiej komunikacji ułatwiające dojazd do szkół, organizację dodatkowych zajęć pozalekcyjnych czy stworzenie programu wsparcia dla utalentowanej młodzieży. – Cieszy mnie że nie był to koncert życzeń, a rzeczowa diagnoza konkretnych problemów – mówi prezydent Wejherowa Krzysztof Hildebrandt. Samorządowcy obiecali uważnie przyjrzeć się przedstawionym problemom, postulaty młodzieży mają być wzięte pod uwagę m. in. przy opracowywanym obecnie powiatowym planie transportowym.
