Koniec prac na Dąbrowskiego – ma być bezpieczniej i bez korków
W Rumi zakończono modernizację ulicy Dąbrowskiego – jednej z głównych arterii miasta. To wspólna inwestycja Urzędu Miasta i wejherowskiego starostwa powiatowego.
– Dzięki niej ruch ma być płynniejszy, będzie też bezpieczniej – mówi burmistrz Rumi Michał Pasieczny.
By zwiększyć komfort jazdy wymieniono nawierzchnię na 900 metrach drogi, bezpieczeństwo mają poprawić azyle dla pieszych. Na poboczach powstało też 30 miejsc parkingowych. Modernizacja objęła odcinek od skrzyżowania z ulicą Szczecińską do Grudziądzkiej. Na remont czeka jeszcze 50 metrowy fragment Dąbrowskiego – przy kościele Najświętszej Maryi Panny. Prace będzie można jednak wykonać dopiero po zawarciu porozumienia z kurią. Wiadomo już, że na modernizacji Dąbrowskiego współpraca Rumi z samorządem powiatowym się nie skończy. W planach są już trzy kolejne remonty – zapewnia wejherowski wicestarosta Witold Reclaf. Modernizacja Dąbrowskiego kosztowała milion 1 650 tysięcy złotych. Dotacja wejherowskiego starostwa wyniosła 500 tysięcy, resztę wyłożył rumski samorząd. (Foto: male-trojmiasto.pl)
