Nową obwodnicą Kościerzyny pojedziemy za 2 lata
Generalna Dyrekcji Dróg Krajowych i Autostrad w Gdańsku odebrała w tym tygodniu pozwolenie na budowę obwodnicy Kościerzyny. Dzisiejszy gość programu „Dzień dobry Kaszuby”, burmistrz Kościerzyny Michał Majewski nie krył zadowolenia z faktu, że do realizacji tej inwestycji już coraz bliżej. Pomimo, że ostateczny projekt, na który wydano pozwolenie różni się od pierwotnego.
Nowo powstająca obwodnica ma ominąć miasto od południa, rozpoczynając się przy wjeździe do miasta od strony Chojnic i Bytowa, i z powrotem łączyć z drogą krajową nr 20 przed Kościerską Hutą. Długość obwodnicy będzie wynosiła 7,6 km. Jak informuje inwestor, w ciągu trasy powstaną cztery obiekty mostowe, w tym największy 100-metrowy nad linią kolejową, a nad trasą pięć kolejnych. Planowany termin oddania ponad 7-kilometrowej obwodnicy Kościerzyny do użytku, to wrzesień 2017 roku.
