Co Polacy myśleli o Kaszubach przez ostatnie dwa wieki?
Stowarzyszenie Kaszëbskô Jednota zachęca do lektury nowego cyklu artykułów historycznych, w których prezentowane są opinie Polaków o Kaszubach na przestrzeni ostatnich dwustu lat.
– Choć po 1989 r. pojawiły się perspektywy dla nieskrępowanego rozwoju, to Kaszubi musieli się jednak zmierzyć nie tylko z tym, jak Polacy ich postrzegają, ale przede wszystkim sami z sobą, z własnymi wyobrażeniami o sobie. – komentuje historyk Dariusz Szymikowski, autor cyklu.
– To niezwykle ważny okres w dziejach Kaszubów. – czytamy we wstępie. Od końca XVIII w., od dawna niemający własnej państwowości, Kaszubi byli poddanymi królów pruskich. W połowie XIX w., za sprawą jednego człowieka – Floriana Ceynowy, weszli w okres odrodzenia narodowego. Potem próbowali włączyć się w wzmagania polsko-niemieckie. Każdy artykuł dostępny na stronie kaszebsko.com/polacy-o-kaszubach składa się z dwóch części – źródła historycznego oraz krótkiego komentarza. Publikacje ukazują się co tydzień. Jest ich na razie pięć, ale pojawią się kolejne.
