Ośrodek Kultury Kaszubsko-Pomorskiej będzie na swoim
Ośrodek Kultury Kaszubsko – Pomorskiej będzie na swoim. Na potrzeby jego prowadzenia Zrzeszenie Kaszubsko – Pomorskie otrzyma od gdyńskiego samorządu lokal po filii nr 15 Miejskiej Biblioteki Publicznej.
– Ma to być centrum lokalnej aktywności – mówi pełnomocnik prezydenta Gdyni do spraw Kultury Maja Wagner.
Dysponujący większą powierzchnią i otwarty na mieszkańców Gdyni Ośrodek Kultury Kaszubsko-Pomorskiej ma się zajmować w szerszym zakresie utrwalaniem i krzewieniem kultury Kaszub i Pomorza. W dalszym ciągu będzie też gromadzić księgozbiór poświęcony regionowi i miastu. Działalność w sferze kultury ma być poszerzona o edukację, w tym w zakresie gospodarki. Przejęcie pomieszczeń przy ulicy Piłsudskiego 18 ma nastąpić w połowie przyszłego roku. Miejsce oczywiście nie jest przypadkowe, filia miejskiej biblioteki użyczała swojej siedziby gdyńskiemu oddziałowi ZKP od 12 lat. – Gdy zaczynaliśmy w 2003 roku Ośrodek Kultury Kaszubsko-Pomorskiej posiadał pół tysiąca woluminów, teraz zbiór ten liczy 5 tysięcy pozycji i będzie wciąż poszerzany – opisuje Teresa Hoppe ze Zrzeszenia. Ośrodek Kultury Kaszubsko – Pomorskiej przejmie lokal przy Pisłudskiego 18 w połowie przyszłego roku – gdy filia nr 15 Miejskiej Biblioteki Publicznej zostanie przeniesiona do filii nr 10 przy ul. Biskupa Dominika.
