Będą wspierać najzdolniejszych z języka kaszubskiego
Kartuski i bytowski powiat będą wspierać najzdolniejszych uczniów z języka kaszubskiego. Przygotowano dla nich specjalne stypendia naukowe.
Nauka języka, kultury i historii Kaszub odbywa się w szkołach na zasadach dobrowolności na podstawie składanej przez ucznia deklaracji. Na ogólną liczbę prawie 16 tysięcy uczniów korzystających z tej nauki – w szkołach średnich uczy się jedynie 2,5 % z nich, to jest około 400 osób. Aby zachęcić młodzież do uczęszczania na lekcje regionalne – starostwa w Kartuzach i Bytowie postanowiły zorganizować specjalne stypendia. Do nauczania języka kaszubskiego potrzebne są specjalne zachęty – przekonuje Jolanta Tersa, dyrektor wydziału edukacji starostwa powiatowego w Kartuzach. Dodajmy, że każdy samorząd, w którym dzieci i młodzież uczą się języka kaszubskiego otrzymuje dodatkową wysoką subwencję z Ministerstwa Edukacji.
