Wspominali czasy zsyłki na XII Światowym Zjeździe Sybiraków
Ze łzami w oczach wspominali czasy zsyłki – uczestnicy XII Światowego Zjazdu Sybiraków w Szymbarku.
Jak co roku w rocznicę sowieckiej agresji na Polskę spotkali się w Centrum Edukacji i Promocji Regionu. Tu stoi autentyczny Dom Sybiraka, przewieziony w częściach spod Irkucka, jest też pociąg i kibitki którymi zesłańcy jechali na Sybir. – Te obiekty przywołują wspomnienia – mówiła Zofia Kłoczko ze Związku Sybiraków. Na uroczystości oprócz zesłańców i ich bliskich oraz samorządowców licznie stawiła się młodzież z pobliskich szkół.
Podczas wczorajszej uroczystości w Centrum Edukacji i Promocji Regionu w Szymbarku odsłonięto replikę „bramy śmierci” – przez którą więźniowie przekraczali próg obozu koncentracyjnego Stutthof. (Foto www.radioglos.pl)
