O sposobach promocji i wykorzystania kaszubskiej żurawiny
Kaszubska żurawina obok truskawki może być głównym produktem kulinarnym przyciągającym turystów na Pomorze – twierdzą zgodnie uczestnicy dzisiejszej konferencji w ramach drugiego Festiwalu Żurawiny w Kościerzynie.
– Żurawina pomaga w wolniejszym rozwijaniu się chorób nowotworowych płuc – mówił doktor Radosław Flisikowski ze szpitala specjalistycznego w Kościerzynie.
Owoc ten coraz częściej wykorzystywany jest w kuchni regionalnej w restauracjach na środkowych Kaszubach. Jest dodatkiem do ciast, sosów i mięs, a przede wszystkim wyróżnia się walorami smakowymi i zdrowotnymi. O nich dzisiaj podczas konferencji opowiadali lekarze i naukowcy. Wspólnie z samorządowcami zastanawiano się jak wypromować kaszubską żurawinę. Szefowa Pomorskiej Regionalnej Organizacji Turystycznej Marta Chełkowska podkreślała potrzebę współpracy wielu środowisk i dobrej kampanii marketingowej. Organizatorzy w ramach drugiego dnia Festiwalu zapraszają jutro na kościerski rynek. Tam od godziny 10:00 zaplanowano występy muzyczne, konkursy kulinarne, a także wspólne gotowanie zupy żurawinowej.
