Rozpoczęła się renowacja obrazu Matki Bożej Pocieszenia
Korony papieskie i sukienkę z bursztynu otrzyma obraz Matki Bożej Pocieszenia z głównego ołtarza kościoła we Wielu. Dzieło zostanie także poddane renowacji.
– Z pomysłem koronacji obrazu Matki Boskiej z naszego kościoła wyszli parafianie – mówi ksiądz proboszcz Jan Flisikowski.
Obraz trafił do wielewskiego kościoła w 1852 roku. W ostatnią niedzielę po raz pierwszy został wyjęty z ołtarza i – po uroczystościach odpustowych – przekazano go do renowacji. Koszulki i korony wykona gdański bursztynnik Mariusz Drapikowski. Korony mają być też poświęcone przez papieża Franciszka na przyszłorocznych Światowych Dniach Młodzieży. Uroczystość koronacji obrazu Matki Bożej Pocieszenia we Wielu ma się odbyć 28 sierpnia przyszłego roku.
