Kaszubi będą walczyć z Turkami w Brzeźnie Szlacheckim
Jak Kaszubi pod Wiedniem z Turkami walczyli – będą odtwarzać w niedzielę w Brzeźnie Szlacheckim, w gminie Lipnica, w powiecie bytowskim.
Brzeźno Szlacheckie było siedliskiem szlachty zagrodowej. Zasłynęło z udziału w Odsieczy Wiedeńskiej, gdzie jego mieszkańcy walczyli pod wodzą Jana III Sobieskiego – co upamiętniono obeliskiem w centrum wioski w 300 rocznicę tych wydarzeń. Co roku odbywa się też rekonstrukcja bitwy, choć historycy mają wątpliwości czy miejscowi Kaszubi faktycznie brali w niej udział. Inscenizacja Odsieczy Wiedeńskiej w Brzeźnie Szlacheckim odbędzie się w tę niedzielę o 15:00, będzie poprzedzona mszą świętą o 11:00 i występami młodzieży z gminy Lipnica.
