W okolicy Mierzyna znowu płonie zboże
W okolicy Mierzyna w gminie Gniewino znowu płonie zboże – kilkaset metrów od wczorajszego pożaru. W poniedziałek ogień strawił tam plony na 50 hektarach, strażacy apelują o zachowanie wyjątkowej ostrożności bo na polach i w lasach jest bardzo sucho.
– Przy tak suchej ziemi bardzo łatwo o pożar, dlatego apelujemy o szczególną ostrożność – mówi oficer prasowy Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Wejherowie, Mirosław Kuraś.
Zgłoszenie o płonących uprawach dotarło do Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Wejherowie dotarło o godzinie 11:30. Obecnie 11 zastępów straży pożarnej prowadzi akcję gaśniczą i zabezpiecza teren. Przyczyna pożaru nie jest znana, ale strażacy wykluczają przeniesienie się ognia z wczorajszego pogorzeliska. Wczoraj pola paliły się w dwóch miejscach w powiecie wejherowskim. W Mierzynie, a także w Osiekach Lęborskich, gdzie akcję utrudniał porywisty wiatr a spaliło się zboże na 80 hektarach.
