Nowe oblicze ma zyskać kartuski rynek
Fontanna, mnóstwo zieleni, nowa nawierzchnia i miejsce wypoczynku – takie oblicze ma w przyszłym roku zyskać kartuski rynek. To już siódma koncepcja rewitalizacji tego miejsca.
– Najważniejsze, że pomysł został przyjęty optymistycznie – mówi burmistrz Grzegorz Gołuński.
Batalia o wygląd rynku w Kartuzach toczy się od kilkunastu lat. Pojawiło się wiele różnych rozwiązań, na które nie zawsze godzili się radni i mieszkańcy. Obecna propozycja zyskała wstępną aprobatę władz miasta. Zakłada wykorzystanie istniejącego układu komunikacyjnego i zastosowanie kilku rozwiązań mających uatrakcyjnić centrum miasta. Według projektu ma powstać podświetlana fontanna nabiegowa, miejsca do odpoczynku i sporo zieleni. Atrakcją mają być ‚„sekrety Kartuz’” czyli kaszubskie nuty rozmieszczone na płycie rynku. Mają się na nich znaleźć kody QR, które umożliwią dzięki smartfonom odsłuchanie informacji o danej nucie. W ramach przygotowywanego projektu nowe oblicze zyska tez ulica Dworcowa i kartuski deptak. Koszt inwestycji szacuje się na 3-4 miliony złotych.
