Apelują o zabezpieczenie ogródków i niedokarmianie dzików
O zabezpieczenie ogródków i niedokarmianie dzików apelują w Gdyni. Mimo ponawianych apeli i prowadzenia odłowu zwierzęta te są tam nadal dużym problemem. Miejskie Centrum Powiadamiania Ratunkowego w Gdyni miesięcznie przyjmuje od mieszkańców około 280 zgłoszeń, dotyczących różnych przypadków styczności z dzikami.
– Obecność dzików w mieście wynika w dużej mierze z niewłaściwego postępowania mieszkańców – mówi Zbigniew Kobyliński, Naczelnik Wydziału Zarządzania Kryzysowego i Ochrony Ludności.
Na terenie miasta funkcjonuje 10 odłowni, w tym 7 stacjonarnych i 3 przestawne, m.in. dzięki którym od października ubiegłego roku wyłapano wywieziono 328 dzików. Dlatego ponawiane są apele o niedokarmianie zwierzyny, zabezpieczenie pojemników na śmieci oraz utrzymywanie ogrodzeń posesji w należytej kondycji. Jeśli natomiast natkniemy się na dzika należy zachować spokój i zawiadomić służby. Niestety, jak informuje Zdzisław Kobyliński, w walce z problemem przeszkadzają wandale. Odłownie są dewastowane, w ostatnim czasie 4 odłownie zostały doprowadzone do takiego stanu, że przez najbliższy okres nie będą pracowały.
