Na bytowskim rynku stanęła kurtyna wodna
Trochę ochłody w centrum miasta. Na rynku w Bytowie stanęła kurtyna wodna.
– Razem ze źródłem czystej wody jest naszą nową atrakcją – mówi burmistrz Bytowa Ryszard Sylka.
Urządzenie ma pomóc bytowianom i turystom przetrwać upalne dni. Oprócz zraszającej bramki ustawiono także poidełko, z którego można bezpiecznie napić się wody. Kurtyna włącza się automatycznie, gdy temperatura wzrośnie powyżej 20 stopni. Bytów to nie jedyne miasto, w którym można skorzystać z kurtyny wodnej. Podobne są też m. in. w Słupsku i Gdańsku. To bezpieczny sposób na ochłodzenie, w przeciwieństwie do kąpieli w miejskiej fontannie – podkreślają inspektorzy sanepidu. Woda w fontannach krąży w obiegu zamkniętym, rozmnażają się w niej bakterie, grzyby, może też zawierać jaja odzwierzęcych pasożytów.
Źródło czystej wody i kurtyna kosztowały około 12 tysięcy złotych. Bramka ma bowiem dodatkową funkcję – wyposażono ją w ładowarkę zasilaną panelem fotowoltaicznym, dzięki której można bezpłatnie naładować telefon.
