Remonty na kolei i zmiany rozkładów jazdy
Koniec wakacji przyniósł powrót do remontów na kolei i zmianę rozkładu pociągów – Przewozów Regionalnych, Intercity i Szybkiej Kolei Miejskiej.
W soboty i niedziele września składy SKM pojadą co 30 minut, czyli dwa razy rzadziej niż dotąd. Pasażerowie pociągów dalekobieżnych będą się przesiadać w niektóre weekendy do zastępczych autobusów na odcinku Słupsk – Sławno i Łobez – Runowo Pomorskie, a pociągi „Doker Intercity” nie będą się w sobotę i niedzielę zatrzymywać między Gdańskiem Głównym a Gdynią Główną. Największe jednak zmiany w związku z remontami zaszły w rozkładach pociągów Przewozów Regionalnych. W weekendy część składów dojeżdżająca z Tczewa, Malborka czy Elbląga zakończy bieg w Gdańsku Głównym. Do autobusów zastępczych musieli się już dziś przesiąść pasażerowie na trasach z Gdyni do Helu i Kościerzyny oraz z Kościerzyny do Chojnic. Pociągi jadące z Gdyni na Półwysep kończą bieg w Redzie bo powrócono do kompleksowego remontu torowiska, w ramach którego m.in. zmodernizowanych zostanie sto przejazdów kolejowych – wyjaśnia wicedyrektor PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe, Leszek Lewiński.
Oprócz trasy Hel – Reda autobusy zastępcze kursują także między Somoninem a Kościerzyną oraz z Kościerzyny do Chojnic.
