Nielegalny tytoń zabezpieczyli pomorscy celnicy
Blisko tonę tytoniu o wartości ponad 600 tys. złotych zabezpieczyli pomorscy celnicy we współpracy z funkcjonariuszami Centralnego Biura Śledczego Policji.
Nielegalny towar przechwycono w czasie działań kontrolnych na drogach województwa, prowadzonych 29 lipca przez funkcjonariuszy Grupy Mobilnej Izby Celnej w Gdyni. W trakcie standardowych czynności celniczy pies służbowy zaznaczył przestrzeń bagażową samochodu zatrzymanego do kontroli. Po jej otwarciu, funkcjonariusze ujawnili 65 worków zawierających mielony tytoń oraz woreczki strunowe wykorzystywane do pakowania tytoniu w porcje przeznaczone do sprzedaży.
Kierowca pojazdu oraz towarzysząca mu kobieta usłyszeli już zarzuty popełnienia przestępstwa skarbowego. Zajęty towar trafił do magazynu Służby Celnej. Gdyby trafił na rynek, Skarb Państwa straciłby ponad 700 tys. złotych z tytułu niezapłaconej akcyzy.
