Fotoradary Tristar wciąż tylko straszakiem
Fotoradary i rejestratory Tristar miały usprawniać ruch w Trójmieście, być batem na piratów drogowych i przejeżdżających na czerwonym świetle, na razie mierzą tylko natężenie ruchu. Naprawa usterek i wyłonienie operatora urządzeń potrwa co najmniej pół roku.
– System informatyczny został już dostosowany do standardów Głównej Inspekcji Transportu Drogowego, teraz kalibrujemy rozpoznawanie tablic rejestracyjnych – mówi Marcin Zawisza z Zarządu Dróg i Zieleni w Gdyni.
Inteligentny system sterowania ruchem powstaje od 2013 roku, a kamery zamontowano przy trójmiejskich ulicach kilka miesięcy temu. Na razie jednak w pełni działają tylko tablice, z których dowiemy się o prognozowanym czasie przejazdu. Wciąż trwają prace nad usterkami. Przekazanie systemu operatorowi również będzie problematyczne. Pierwszy kandydat, straż miejska, w zgodnie z przegłosowaną w miniony piątek ustawą z początkiem roku utraci prawa do obsługi tego typu urządzeń. Drugi, czyli Główna Inspekcja Transportu Drogowego kontroluje drogi krajowe, a większość fotorejestratorów Tristar zainstalowana jest na drogach gminnych. Opinia prawna w tej sprawie zapadnie po nowym roku. – Bierzemy również pod uwagę możliwość braku operatora – mówi Marcin Zawisza. System Tristar kosztował ponad 130 milionów złotych.
