Zmodernizowano i upiększono park przy ulicy 8 Marca
To sukces wszystkich mieszkańców mówią w Kościerzynie o upiększonym parku przy ulicy 8 marca. Udało się tam wymienić ławki, oświetlenie a także posadzić nową zieleń i stworzyć siłownię na świeżym powietrzu.
Środki na ten cel pozyskano w konkursie „Ogólnopolskie Upiększanie z Garnierem”. Dzięki internetowym głosom mieszkańców Kościerzyna znalazła się w dziesiątce laureatów, do których trafiło po 20 tysięcy złotych. Efekty zmian oglądała Ania Cupa – Dziemińska z Jackiem Konkolem z Urzędu Miasta. Władze miasta zachęcają również do korzystania z nowej siłowni na świeżym powietrzu, która powstała przy ulicy Dworcowej, a także niedawno wykonanego placu zabaw przy ulicy Małej Kolejowej. Łączny koszt tych inwestycji wyniósł 50 tysięcy złotych.
