Oblężenie Chojnic szykuje się pod koniec sierpnia
Będzie punktem kulminacyjnym Turnieju Rycerskiego, ma upamiętnić wydarzenia sprzed prawie 550 lat.
– To najlepsze miejsce na organizację turnieju rycerskiego – zapewnia jeden z organizatorów, Bogdan Kuffel.
Chodzi o oblężenie w 1466 roku, po którym miasto zostało odbite z rąk Krzyżaków i włączone do Polski. Historyczną rekonstrukcję poprzedzi turniej łuczników oraz tarczy i miecza, a niezainteresowani wojennym rzemiosłem będą mieli szansę obejrzeć pokazy tańca i zabaw z epoki. Miejscem imprezy od dziewięciu lat są pozostałości fosy miejskiej położone nieopodal Starego Rynku i Bramy Człuchowskiej.
Turniej Rycerski ma się odbyć 29 sierpnia. Można się doń aktywnie włączyć. Chętni by stanąć w szranki w turnieju lub wziąć udział w inscenizacji mogą się zgłaszać do Chojnickiego Domu Kultury – do 24 sierpnia.
