Pomóż zatrzymać fałszywych hydraulików – apelują policjanci z Gdyni. Poszukują oszustów, którzy w ostatnich tygodniach okradli 6 starszych, samotnych osób.
Sprawcy pukają do drzwi wytypowanych mieszkań i podając się za hydraulików lub gazowników proszą o wpuszczenie do mieszkania pod pozorem usunięcia awarii. Gdy jeden odwraca uwagę seniora pozostali penetrują szafy i szuflady w poszukiwaniu wartościowych rzeczy i gotówki. Policjanci zabezpieczyli monitoring w jednym z budynków, w którym doszło do przestępstwa – nagranie można obejrzeć na stronie internetowej Komendy Wojewódzkiej Policji w Gdańsku. Trzech mężczyzn na nim uwiecznionych jest podejrzewanych o szereg tego typu kradzieży, nie tylko na terenie Gdyni.
Policja zwraca się o pomoc w ustaleniu tożsamości oszustów – można się zgłosić do najbliższej jednostki policji lub zadzwonić pod nr 997. Mundurowi proszą też o stosowanie zasady ograniczonego zaufania – warto upewnić się czy pukający do drzwi monter, elektryk czy hydraulik jest przedstawicielem legalnej firmy lub instytucji. W przypadku wątpliwości – poprośmy o pomoc najbliższych, sąsiadów, wykonajmy telefon na policję.
