Powstanie kolejowy węzeł integracyjny
Zamiast stać w olbrzymich korkach w drodze do Trójmiasta, już w 2020 roku mamy z aut przesiąść się do wygodnych pociągów. Pomorskie miasta są w trakcie projektowania węzłów integracyjnych, które ułatwią dostęp do Pomorskiej Kolei Metropolitalnej.
– Dzięki temu mieszkańcy powiatu zamiast stać w olbrzymich korkach, będą mogli szybko i wygodnie dojechać do Trójmiasta pociągiem – mówi burmistrz miasta Michał Majewski.
A tą z Rębiechowa do Wrzeszcza pojedziemy już we wrześniu tego roku. Ma ona przyspieszyć i ułatwić dostęp mieszkańców Bytowa, Kartuz i Kościerzyny do Trójmiasta. Dlatego w Kościerzynie planowane jest wybudowanie wokół dworca parkingu dla 280 samochodów a także ścieżek rowerowych z okolic Łubiany, Skorzewa i Wielkiego Klincza. Budowa węzła integracyjnego w Kościerzynie ma kosztować 32 mln złotych, z czego większość stanowić będzie dofinansowanie unijne. W ramach zadania wyremontowany zostanie również budynek dworca. Inwestycja ma być gotowa do końca 2020 roku.
