Neptun otworzy ośmiodniowe Święto Morza
Jutro klucze do Gdyni przejmie Neptun otwierając doroczne, ośmiodniowe Święto Morza. Obchody będą okazją do spędzenia wolnego czasu i skorzystania z ogromu atrakcji, mają też zwrócić uwagę na znaczenie gospodarcze morza dla regionu.
– W programie ośmiodniowego święta jest prawie 40 wydarzeń o morskim charakterze, które łączą tradycję z rozrywką – mówi prezydent Gdyni, Wojciech Szczurek.
Dni Morza rozpoczną się w samo południe salwą z Błyskawicy. Zaraz potem w morze wyjdzie statek Urzędu Morskiego w Gdyni, z którego pokładu złożony zostanie wieniec ku pamięci tych, co odeszli na wieczną wachtę. Dni Morza otworzą tradycyjne już Cudawianki, czyli obfitująca w koncerty oferta na noc świętojańską, będą też regaty, pokaz ćwiczeń antyterrorystycznych czy wizyta starych, rybackich pomeranek z Jastarni. Będzie też nowość – jarmark kaszubski w Infobox’ie, podczas którego dzieci posłuchają bajek po kaszubsku, a dorośli będą mogli wziąć udział w warsztatach jubilerskich. Jego zwieńczeniem będzie występ grupy Kaszubki Idol Live – koncert światowych hitów, oczywiście śpiewanych w rodnej mowie. – Gdynia to przecież nie tylko miasto morskie, ale też i Kaszubskie – podkreśla Aleksandra Mol ze Stowarzyszenia Turystycznego Kaszuby.
Święto Morza potrwa od 20 do 28 czerwca, szczegółowy program znaleźć można na internetowej stronie tego wydarzenia.
