80-lecie gdyńskiej „szóstki” im. Antoniego Abrahama
Do wspólnego świętowania 80-lecia szkoły zachęcają absolwentów i sympatyków w gdyńskiej „szóstce” im. Antoniego Abrahama. Uroczystości potrwają 3 dni, rozpoczną się 19 czerwca.
– Szkoła została ostatnio zmodernizowana i rozbudowana, jednak nie straciła nic ze swojego charakteru – mówi – mówi dyrektor placówki Ewa Andrzejewska, która była dziś gościem w naszej porannej audycji.
Uczniowie szkoły podstawowej nr 6 mocno zaangażowali się w przygotowania – rozesłano zaproszenia opatrzone motywem z kaszubskiego haftu, powstają oparte na nim ozdoby. W latach 70-tych lokalna społeczność zdecydowała, by placówce nadać imię kaszubskiego działacza Antoniego Abrahama. Jako jedna z pierwszych w Gdyni wprowadziła edukację regionalną. Kaszubski język, kulturę i historię na zajęciach poznaje teraz 30 uczniów, ale liczba ta stale rośnie. Świętowanie 80-lecia społeczność szkolna rozpocznie 19 czerwca uroczystym apelem, następnego dnia zaś zaprasza w szkolne mury na festyn – od 10:00 do 14:00. Uroczystości zakończy 21 czerwca msza święta w kościele św. Andrzeja Boboli.
