Miejsce dla patroli i straszak na kierowców na gdyńskich ulicach
Osiem kopert z napisem „Policja” na gdyńskich ulicach, a ma być jeszcze więcej. Będą się tam pojawiać patrole, a funkcjonariusze liczą że oznakowanie tych miejsc zadziała prewencyjnie i kierowcy zdejmą nogę z gazu.
– Mamy też nadzieję że zadziałają prewencyjnie – mówił dziś w naszej porannej audycji Adam Rrzechuła z Wydziału Ruchu Drogowego Komendy Miejskiej Policji w Gdyni.
Większość kopert z napisem „Policja” wymalowano na ulicy Morskiej, ale są też na Chwaszczyńskiej, Rdestowej, alei Zwycięstwa i Drodze Gdyńskiej. W planach jest jeszcze umieszczenie oznakowania m.in. na Estakadzie Kwiatkowskiego, trwają ustalenia z gdyńskim Zarządem Dróg i Zieleni. Oznaczone policyjną kopertą miejsca mają dać patrolom techniczną możliwość zatrzymania się i przeprowadzania kontroli. Oczywiście patroli można się spodziewać także poza miejscami oznaczonymi policyjną kopertą. W Gdyni kierowcy jeżdżą spokojniej od wprowadzenia przepisów zaostrzających kary za przekraczanie prędkości, ale jeszcze statystycznie raz na dobę prawo odbieramy prawo jazdy zbyt krewkiemu kierowcy – mówił gość naszej porannej audycji.
