100-lecie świętują w tym roku strażacy w gminie Dziemiany
100-lecie istnienia świętują w tym roku strażacy w gminie Dziemiany. Oficjalne uroczystości w miniony weekend były okazją do wspomnień, podsumowań a także odznaczeń i podziękowań wielu strażakom – ochotnikom.
Setną rocznicę powstania świętowało wspólnie aż 5 jednostek OSP z terenu gminy. Powstały w 1915 roku z nakazu władz pruskich, głównie do walki z pożarami. – Nasza rola zmieniała się na przestrzeni kolejnych lat – podkreślał Włodzimierz Ostrowski prezes zarządu gminnego OSP w Dziemianach. Wystawę poświęconą setnej rocznicy powstania OSP można oglądać w Ośrodku Kultury w Dziemianach.(Fot: AL koscierski.info)
