Kultowa Chëcz klubu Pomorania otwarta po remoncie
Klub Studencki Pomorania odzyskał swoją kultową chëcz – uroczyście otwarto ją po 5-letnim remoncie.
– Wizyta w chëczy przywołuje najlepsze wspomnienia z lat studiów – opowiada Bożena Ugowska, była członkini Pomoranii i laureatka ubiegłorocznego Medalu Stolema.
Letnia siedziba klubu położona jest w lasach koło Łączyńskiej Huty w gminie Chmielno. To zabytkowa kaszubska chata, od lat 60. ubiegłego wieku służąca Pomorańcom – studentom trójmiejskich uczelni, których łączy zamiłowanie do Kaszub. Decyzja o remoncie zapadła w 2009 roku, odnowiony miał być dach jednak po oględzinach potrzebna okazała się gruntowna renowacja. Ocalało jedynie 30% oryginalnych elementów, ale wykonawcy remontu – Henrykowi Soja ze skansenu w Klukach – udało się wiernie odwzorować pierwotny, zewnętrzny wygląd checzy. We wnętrzu natomiast rewolucja – oprócz porządnej instalacji elektrycznej w checzy jest teraz również bieżąca woda, nowy kominek i w pełni wyposażona łazienka z prysznicem. Nowy wygląd zrobił ogromne wrażenie na byłych członkach klubu, ale podkreślali że nadal panuje tu atmosfera, z której słynęło pomorańskie miejsce spotkań. Rewitalizacja chëczy kosztowała ponad 200 tysięcy złotych.
