Gdynia: świadkowie oskarżają policję o późną interwencję
Naoczni świadkowie oskarżają policjantów z Gdyni o zbyt późną interwencję w bójce między meksykańskimi marynarzami a kibicami Ruchu Chorzów. Komendant wojewódzki zlecił kontrolę w tej sprawie.
Nie obawiamy się jej wyników – mówi Michał Rusak z komendy w Gdyni – na miejscu zdarzenia byliśmy po ośmiu minutach, w akcji uczestniczyło 160 policjantów, mamy też nagrania z miejskiego monitoringu – dodaje mundurowy. Do bójki doszło w niedzielę, kiedy kibice Chorzowa przyjechali na niedzielny mecz ich drużyny z Arką Gdynia. W ogólnopolskich mediach pojawiają się głosy plażowiczów oburzonych towarzystwem Chorzowian, którzy na plaży mieli zakłócać porządek od rana – a przypomnijmy, mecz rozpoczynał się po godzinie 18. Wątpliwości, czy grupa kibiców była przez cały dzień pilnowana, dotarły do komendy wojewódzkiej.
Wciąż nie wiemy, czy bójkę sprowokowali kibice Chorzowa, czy meksykańscy żeglarze ze statku szkoleniowego – zachowując się brutalnie wobec turystek wypoczywających na plaży. Nagrania monitoringu miejskiego nie wskazują prowokatorów, a na wyniki przesłuchań świadków musimy poczekać najprawdopodobniej do jutra.
