W Muzeum Emigracji w Gdyni trwa tydzień otwarcia – czyli wydarzenia kulturalne i edukacyjne przybliżające dokonania polskich emigrantów i czasy transatlantyków.
Okazją jest otwarcie nowej placówki, jedynej takiej w Polsce. Na najmłodszych czekają zajęcia inspirowane odkryciami, wynalazkami i twórczością emigrantów. „Pośmigamy w przestworzach z Frankiem Piaseckim i stworzymy księżycowy pojazd razem z Mieczysławem Bekkerem. Z kolei z Ernestem Malinowskiem przemierzymy niedostępne rejony Andów, by zmierzyć się z zadaniem zaprojektowania najwyższej linii kolejowej na świecie – opisuje organizator.
Udział w zajęciach jest bezpłatny. Na wszystkie rodziny czeka także specjalna broszura z zadaniami, które można wspólnie rozwiązać zwiedzając wystawę stałą. Jutro o godzinie 15:00 w sali kinowej Muzeum Emigracji w Gdyni będzie można poznać historię legendarnego transatlantyku „Batory”. Wszyscy zwiedzający mogą też poznać historię Dworca Morskiego na poświęconej mu wystawie czasowej. Do końca maja wstęp do muzeum jest bezpłatny.
