Podróż koleją z Gdyni do Słupska ma być szybsza
PKP PLK bada możliwości inwestycji, która ma być uzupełnieniem modernizacji magistrali Warszawa – Gdynia. Analiza ma być gotowa jeszcze w tym roku.
– Na razie jednak spółka analizuje koszty i możliwości – mówi rzecznik PKP PLK, Mirosław Siemieniec.
Jednym z celów jest zwiększenie przepustowości – liczby pociągów kursujących z Wejherowa przez Lębork do Słupska. Modernizacja ma też umożliwić podwyższenie prędkości maksymalnej ze 120 do 160 km/h. Gruntowną modernizację przejść muszą tory i sieć trakcyjna. Remont będzie dotyczył również infrastruktury pasażerskiej, w tym peronów. Koszt inwestycji nie jest na razie znany, samo wykonanie studium wykonalności pochłonie około półtora miliona złotych. Szybciej pociągiem z Gdyni do Słupska dojedziemy najwcześniej za 5 lat.
