Bitwę pod Świecinem znów przegrali Kaszubi
Średniowieczny obóz warowny i inscenizację walki Polsko-Krzyżackiej można było zobaczyć w tę sobotę w Świecinie – tę bitwę znów przegrali Kaszubi.
Bitwa pod Świecinem rozegrała się we wrześniu 1462 roku. W starciu między wojskami polskimi Piotra Dunina a Krzyżackimi oddziałami Fritza von Raveneck Kaszubi walczyli pod Czarnym Krzyżem. We wsi do dziś miejsce pochówku poległych wskażą ich potomkowie – a Bractwo Spod Nordowej Gwiazdy wraz z pasjonatami z całego kraju od ośmiu już lat odtwarza przebieg wydarzenia. W tym roku największą atrakcją był świetnie odwzorowany obóz warowny.
Bitwa Pod Świecinem przesądziła o włączeniu Pomorza do Polski, a w obecnych czasach jest pomijana przez historyków – oceniają organizatorzy inscenizacji. Kolejna okazja do jej wspomnienia nadarzy się już w przyszłym roku.
