Kościerscy strażacy dostaną samochód do ratownictwa wodnego
Awanse, odznaczenia i życzenia udanego powrotu z akcji – dzisiaj świętowali kościerscy strażacy. Dobrą informacje otrzymali z Gdańska – w tym roku dostaną od Komendy Wojewódzkiej warty prawie milion złotych nowy samochód do ratownictwa wodnego.
Kościerscy strażacy są jedną z 19 jednostek powiatowych podległych centrali w Gdańsku. W ubiegłym roku do akcji wyjeżdżali średnio co 9 godzin. Jedynie 20 proc. zdarzeń dotyczyło pożarów a pozostałe to przede wszystkim pomoc rannym w wypadkach oraz interwencje związane z wichurami i silnymi opadami deszczu. W Komendzie w Kościerzynie służy 48 strażaków, 20 z nich dzisiaj odebrało awanse i odznaczenia. Wśród nich młodszy kapitan Radosław Zwarra. Samochód będzie wykorzystywany między innymi do poszukiwań podwodnych. Jego koszt to blisko milion złotych, a środki pochodzą z dotacji z Unii Europejskiej.
