Będzie mniej dymiących kominów w Kościerzynie
Będzie mniej dymiących kominów w Kościerzynie. Władze miasta wspomogą spółkę KOS-EKO w rozbudowie sieci ciepłowniczej. Na ten cel w tym roku przeznaczą 250 tysięcy złotych.
– Zainteresowanie mieszkańców było tak duże, że musieliśmy rozszerzyć program i zwiększyć środki – mówi burmistrz Michał Majewski.
Powietrze w Kościerzynie jest jednym z najbardziej zanieczyszczonych w województwie pomorskim. Od lat władze miasta realizują program naprawczym, w tym przyłączanie kolejnych budynków do miejskiej sieci ciepłowniczej. Inwestycje te realizuje Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Infrastruktury KOS-EKO, które w zeszłym roku na ten cel pozyskało z Funduszu Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej ponad 1 mln złotych w ramach programu „KAWKA”. Inwestycja ma być zrealizowana w tym roku.
